Have you been wondering what makes beer bread so light and soft? The secret undoubtedly lies in just the right combination of beer and the melted butter you pour over the top. Making beer bread is very simple and won’t take much of your time. In just an hour or so you’ll be able to spread your favourite Argeta on a fresh, delicious slice. Heat up the oven, prepare the ingredients, choose your favourite beer, and get ready to enjoy your new favourite – beer bread.


  • flour400 g
  • baking powder1 sachet
  • salt1 tsp
  • beer350 ml
  • butter120 g


  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.

  2. Melt the butter on low heat or in a microwave.

  3. Mix half of the melted butter with the flour, baking powder, salt and beer.

  1. Place the mixture into a greased 20 cm bread baking tin.

  2. Pour the rest of the melted butter over the dough.

  3. Bake beer bread for 50 minutes at 180°C.

  1. After baking, leave it in the tin for 5 minutes, then transfer it onto a cooling rack and allow it to cool completely.
