The awareness that we only have one planet and we must take care of it and leave it preserved for posterity is taking hold in the world more and more. Slovenia is a land of forests, as more than 56 percent of the country’s surface is covered by them, ranking us third in Europe, which is why the economic management and protection of forests is of the utmost importance. This is something we are firmly committed to at Argeta, as we want our products to put as little burden on the environment as possible. We achieve this by using FSC-certified packaging.

What is FSC?

FSC stands for Forest Stewardship Council, an organisation that promotes and certifies responsible management of the world’s forests. All packaging bearing this label is obtained from wood (wood and paper products) from responsibly managed forests. FSC promotes sustainable, environmentally friendly, economically acceptable and socially just management – this means that any trees that are cut down are replaced by newly planted ones. One of the commitments that is part of our sustainable development is also a commitment to the environment, which is why all cardboard packaging used in the production of our products (transport cartons, multipack cartons) comes from FSC-certified sources.

That is how at Argeta, we fulfil our mission of an environmentally friendly brand with nature-friendly packaging in all areas. And we sincerely believe that together with you, who support our efforts, we can continue to be proud of our beautiful and vast green forests.
