We want to create meat and fish spreads without artificial additives, and vegetable spreads labelled GMO-free.

Pledges and targets by 2030:

  • All meat and fish spreads will meet the “no additives” pledge.

  • We will increase the number of products certified GMO-free.

We want to improve product formulation by reducing fat and salt and increasing protein and other positive nutrients. We also want to increase the number of products suitable for people with dietary restrictions.

Sustainable ingredients, and product quality and safety

We will ensure compliance with the GFSI (Global Food Safety Initiative) and with environmental standards in production. We will also require these standards from our suppliers.

Pledges and targets by 2030:

  • Our production units will maintain FSSC 22000 certification and environmental standards.

  • At least 60% of our suppliers will have at least one GFSI or environmental standard.

We want to ensure that the ingredients we use in production are sustainably grown, reared, or fished.

  • We will buy meat and fish from sustainable breeding farms and producers, in line with available supply, regulatory requirements, and market potential.

We want to increase the use of packaging that does not have BPA-NI added.

  • We will use BPA-NI packaging in our own production.
