This year, the Flying hill of Gorišek brothers is hosting four competitions, with the first one replacing the one that was due to take place on 21st March at the Vikersund Hill in Norway. For such an event to be organized, the right support was needed and Argeta, a big supporter of the sport, was quick to respond. It became the general sponsor of the first day of competition.

Protecting the snow from the sun
It was a beautiful day, but the conditions were not ideal for the snow, which had already started to melt in the morning. The Slovenian Army protected the snow and shaded it, while the organizing team set up spruce trees to help the competitors overcome the diffuse light and orientate themselves in the air.
We’ve passed on your messages of support to the competitors
In the days leading up to the first competition, Argeta collected messages of encouragement for the competitors on its social media channels in Slovenia, Poland, Russia, Austria, Switzerland and Germany. We received hundreds of them and the most original and inspiring ones were transferred to the big digital screen in Planica to give the athletes an extra boost from the words of their fans!

The victory came in the last flight of the competition. Ryoyu Kobayashi won with a flight of 244.5 meters, his 252 meter record remains unbeaten.
